How to Establish a Business in Saudi Arabia
- Obtain Necessary Licenses

Required Documents:
– Copy of investor’s passport
– Power of attorney
– Company’s current valid commercial registration
– Company’s current valid Articles of Association
– The company’s financial statement for 2024
Establishing a Branch of a Foreign Company in Saudi Arabia
Foreigners are now able to open a branch to an existing foreign company, whereby they do not need a Saudi partner. Processing takes approximately 30 working days from the date of submission of all required documents.
All documents must be authenticated and certified (Apostille) or attested by the Saudi Embassy in the foreign country where the company is established, as well as the foreign affairs of said country.

– Provide required documents
– Determine business activity
– Choose a trade name in Saudi Arabia
Government Fees:
The Ministry of Investment fee is approximately USD3,580
Upon receiving the investor’s visa, the investor will pay a fee of approximately USD2,675 directly to the government via a bank payment in Saudi Arabia to process the actual residence permit.
Total initial set up cost is approximately USD8,000-9,000 (Inclusive of all business licensing requirements and investor’s residence permit)
Business License renewal fee: approximately USD16,580
