Asalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh to any and all who come across this humble section of the internet.
We are a group of Western-Born Muslims who have made hijrah to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after many years of du’a, hope, and planning. We are collectively dedicated to assisting and facilitating others in navigating these lands and ultimately making this amazing life decision as well, following in the footsteps of the Prophet ﷺ, when he ﷺ journeyed to Madinah in the early years of Islam.
We are writing this blog in the hopes of accomplishing three primary goals.
And the first is to facilitate the planning and aid the understanding of the process for potential hijrah-makers in moving to Saudi Arabia, and especially the two Holy Cities of Makkah and Madinah.
The second is to highlight and simplify Tourism and Traveling for Leisure within the Muslim Lands as a means of halal entertainment for the people without sacrificing access to fulfilling one’s Islamic Obligations.
The third is to make navigating the Two Holy Mosques easier for the people as much as is within our power to do so.
We will be starting this journey in the Prophet’s ﷺ Favorite City, Madinah, Saudi Arabia, home of the Second of the two Holy Mosques, Masjid An-Nabawi.
Upon providing as much additional information as we believe we can in the short term, we will then move on to Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and the Masjid al-Haram, bi’ithnillah.
Then, we will inshaAllah move on from there.
In addition to compiling the existing Maps and Guides that are available for the two Holy Mosques, we also intend to provide Historical and Practical Information about the Cities themselves, the people there, the culture, and different Tips and Tricks the average traveller or perspective hijrah-maker may find useful.
